Please join us on Saturday morning, November 17, at 10 am, for our monthly San Gabriel Valley Women Writers meeting. We're excited to welcome our own Cybele Garcia Kohel, who will teach us all about The Storytelling Behind Grant Writing!
Whether you write fiction, journalism, poetry, or prose, it's all about telling a good story. This is also true of grant writing! Learning how to use your story telling abilities in grant writing is a useful skill, and one that could translate into writing successful grant applications. Where do you start? What are sponsors and donors looking for? What are some tips for writing a successful grant proposal? Get answers to these questions and more at this important SGVWW talk.
Cybele Garcia Kohel is a poet, writer, and cultural worker who has worked in the non-profit arena for over twenty five years. We're excited to have her share her experiences as both a writer and grants panelist.
SGVWW meets monthly, usually on the third Saturdays, to network and learn about a different topic related to writing and publishing. Please come early so you can get breakfast before starting time, and RSVP here so we can save you a seat.
See you on November 17!
