Scruffy and the Egg is a story that Angela M. Sanchez and her dad used to tell back and forth to each other. The funny adventures of a wandering dog and his blank-faced egg helped Angela and her dad get through tough times together.

When Angela isn’t drawing cartoons or writing stories, she’s exploring her home city of Los Angeles. Angela is a graduate of UCLA. This is her first book.

Angela was just awarded a PEN USA Emerging Voices fellowship. Her book & personal journey were the subject of a January 7th article in the Los Angeles Times.
