Harp Performance
DENNIS DOYLE is a harpist, singer, and storyteller whose traditional Irish programs have been performed all over North America, Japan and Ireland. He has 10 recordings and 2 books. Doyle has performed on Murder, She Wrote, done research and artwork for the History Channel, and was depicted as a character in the ABC show The Kids Are Alright. He has been the opening act for Clannad, the Dixie Chicks, and DeDannan. His family originally hails from County Wicklow, Ireland.
Doyle is a professor emeritus at Glendale Community College where he taught for over 40 years lecturing in English, Humanities, Irish History & Literature and leading Study-Abroad programs in Ireland and England.
Pathway is an all-instrumental harp music collection with subtle accompaniment. The music is drawn from the lovely tunes of touring harpists who travelled throughout Ireland and Scotland in the 17th and 18th centuries.
