A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN-IDENFITIED AND GENDER NON-BINARY WRITERS

SGVWW August Meeting: Work Session!

https://www.facebook.com/events/892030541170714/

Come network with your fellow San Gabriel Valley Women Writers, with emphasis on the WORK! :)

For August, we're taking it a little easy with an unstructured meeting to be productive. Let’s gather together to network, talk shop for a while, and then focus in and work with our colleagues by our sides.

Bring your laptops or notebooks and we'll all hang out and work together, on whatever project you're working on. If you want to ask questions or advice, please feel free: Want to run an idea by someone? Ask advice about where to pitch something? Ask questions about how to do things or in what order? Want folks to give feedback about a pitch letter? Have questions about the website you're building? Need a little confidence boost or emotional support? Feel free to ask! Anyone can chime in and all can answer.

To paraphrase the Schuyler Sisters, we're looking for minds at work! :)

Even though this is a more relaxed meeting, we'd love to know if you're joining us. Please RSVP.

San Gabriel Valley Women Writers (SGVWW) is a supportive and knowledgable community of women-identified and gender non-binary writers focused on helping each other further our writing goals. We meet in-person monthly, usually on the third Saturdays, to network and learn about a different topic related to writing and publishing. Our monthly talks are hosted by a variety of professionals and cover everything from tax laws to building a writer's website, from finding an agent and pitching publications to creating compelling characters and writing strong dialogue. Writers of all types are welcome: journalists, fiction and non-fiction authors, novelists, poets, bloggers, professional and amateur, etc. We also meet online in our Facebook group.
