Writing for Life is a collection of poetry and stories written by individuals who share a common theme even though in the outside world they may as well be as different as night and day. That is the power of writing. It brings quarreling families together, unites those of us who are on different sides of the political spectrum, and it reminds us all that we have trauma we share. This anthology, at its core, is meant to connect us by our most primal of instincts: survival.
