written by her brother, the Story of a Hollywood Starlet and her Struggles with mental illness
Is Everybody Happy? is about David D’Orazi’s loving sister and actress Kathy O’Dare, who died in 2012. The author used her journals and scrapbooks as source material. Kathy was a Hollywood starlet who costarred with Ron Howard on the original pilot of the iconic TV show "Happy Days". She also suffered from schizophrenia. D’Orazi’s hope in writing her story is to shed light on living with mental illness and assist others in helping their loved ones with similar struggles lead a better life.
David F. D’Orazi, a successful salesman and Los Angeles native, is an alumnus of University of California, Irvine where he earned a biology degree, as well as California State University, Los Angeles, where he received a master of business degree.
His first book, The In-Between Artist: The Story of Tony D’Orazi, is a candid reflection on his father’s life and struggles with mental illness while pursuing his career as a television personality and artist.
David D’Orazi also performs magic at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.
